We are excited to share the news with all of our readers and clients that Round Software has recently achieved Cyber Essentials Certification through the NCSC and CREST. Here’s what you need to know about our achievement and what it means for us and you.
What Is Cyber Essentials?
Cyber Essentials is a Government backed scheme which helps to protect organisations (like us!) from a range of the most common cyber-attacks. Cyber Essentials specify a range of requirements under the following technical control themes;
- Firewalls
- Secure configuration
- User access control
- Malware protection
- Patch management

The Cyber Essentials certification gives you piece of mind that your digital defences will protect your hardware and software against the majority of common cyber-attacks, targets of these attacks do not usually have the Cyber Essentials technical controls in place.
